Project Coordinator

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Primarily 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, with occasional on-call coverage

About the Role

Are you the kind of person who notices when something's missing and won't rest until it's fixed? We're looking for a Coordinator to make sure every network maintenance activity is fully prepared before it begins.

In this role, you'll track maintenance tickets from intake through completion. You'll catch gaps early, chase down missing documentation, and confirm that every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed before work reaches the maintenance window. You'll work with internal teams, engineers, vendors, and customers, so you'll need to be persistent and diligent.

This is a great fit for an entry-level engineer who wants to move toward project coordination, a recent graduate from a technical program, or a tech-savvy organizer who enjoys bringing order to complex processes.

What You'll Do

• Monitor every maintenance Jira ticket across its full lifecycle (intake, design, MOP, pre-maintenance, and completion) to make sure process requirements and documentation are complete.
• Spot process gaps and missing requirements as early as possible, before they become problems in the maintenance window.
• Follow up persistently with internal teams, vendors, and customers to get missing documentation, approvals, and information.
• Flag incomplete or non-compliant tickets and coordinate corrections or rescheduling before work moves forward.
• Build consensus across teams to remove process roadblocks, persuading people to act rather than pressuring them.
• Lead the Daily Maintenance Scrum (details below).

What We're Looking For

• A naturally organized, detail-obsessed person who's comfortable keeping many moving pieces on track.
• Strong follow-through. When something is missing, you're a bulldog about getting it, while staying professional and respectful.
• Confident, clear communication. You're not shy about speaking up, and you know how to convince people without being abrasive.
• Comfort working with both internal teams and external customers.
• Experience with Jira or another ticketing or tracking system, such as Salesforce or ServiceNow.
• Strong Excel skills. If you enjoy building clever formulas, we want to hear about it.
• Openness to using AI tools and new technology to work smarter.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• A technical background or degree from a technical program
• Familiarity with telecom or network operations, fiber optics, MOP documentation, or change management processes
• Experience in maintenance coordination, operations support, or a similar role
